Overview of the study
You are being invited to participate in a study that aims to understand the impact of the AI and Information Literacy module created by the University of Maryland Teaching and Learning Transformation Center (TLTC) and Libraries. The study is being conducted at the University of Maryland, College Park. We intend to collect data via online surveys from instructors and students who have used the module. We expect this survey will take you 5-10 minutes to complete.
Risks and benefits
There are no foreseeable risks or benefits to you for your participation in this study. Our hope is that the results from this study will benefit instructors and students in the future.
Confidentiality
The research team will use Qualtrics to administer the surveys. We are not collecting your email address or other unique identifying information.
Your survey responses will not be shared with your course instructor and will in no way impact your course grades.
All data will be stored on a password-protected computer/encrypted storage and will only be accessed by the members of this research team. In future reports or presentations about this research, we will protect your identity to the maximum extent possible.
Your right to withdraw from the research
Your participation in this research is completely voluntary and will not impact your course grades at all. You can decide to not take the survey at all, or if you start it and decide you would like to stop, you can stop any time. Some of the questions in the survey are marked as optional, and you can skip any of those you would not like to answer.
