Leon A. Herreid Science Fellowship
The Leon A. Herreid Science Fellowship Fund was established in May 1995 by Paul Herreid in memory of his son, Leon A. Herreid, to honor Leon's long and positive association with Goddard Space Flight Center in space physics. This award provides a one-year renewable fellowship to one or more full- or part-time graduate students in the Department of Physics. The award will be granted based on academic merit, with preference given to an individual who is affiliated with Goddard Space Flight Center. Recipients may receive the award for a maximum of two years.
